“Feast of Wonder” came from a desire to show the connection between doubts and belief, which is how we always feels both in daily life. Seeing how belief could be encouraging despite the darkness around us, it inspired me to create this artwork. That vision developed into a study of mystery, connection, and wonder. I intended for the work to awaken the strength from within thus set us to continue with our journey.

In the background, the dark green shade symbolise the darkness at the beginning of a journey and slowly the path gets brighter as we move forward . Over this, crimson’s bold amd textured strokes create crossed paths that imply choices, direction, and possibly conflict. Meanwhile, the bright pink circles and blue tiny dashes is to create contrast and allude to pause and letting things go. Like navigating a feast for the senses, each layer was applied purposefully to find a balance between the mix feeling of overwhelm and wonder.

I painted, took a step back, and layered again in an ongoing process. While the fine, linear elements create a sort of fragile structure, the expressive brushstrokes convey real emotion. This conflict between structure and freedom became a major theme in the work. While still directing the viewer’s eye throughout the composition, I wanted to let textures flourish on the canvas.

My hope is that collectors will feel both encouranged and inspired when engaging with “Feast of Wonder.” It is meant to stir curiosity, to remind us of the joy in moving forward within complexity of our mind. Perhaps it can motivate people to embrace wonder rather than fear when we faced with the unknown. This artwork is to admire the mystery itself, inviting collectors to slow down, letting things go and have faith in our own path.
