Beauty of Surprises

Surprises could be bad, but could be good too. There are many times in life, we get surprises at the least expected time. “Beauty of Surprises” carries a story about a person who bravely made a step from darkness into a new path. This one soul has a doubt because he cannot see anything yet in front of him.

I started with uneven brush strokes for the background and layered darker colours. The darker colours represent the doubtful heart; however, the background symbolises hope, which always lingers around us.

On the canvas, you can see the light green colour splashes all over it. I intended this to mean all the steps that we will take in our lives. It can be straightforward, long or short, but it doesn’t mean that we’re lost. Additionally, a variety of patterns in black colour show that our firm believes; even though we cannot see and know what lies ahead, we will trust the journey.

From my heart, I wish that the collectors may see this artwork as a reminder. A reminder that having faith in our decision can lead us to wonderful surprises, even though we cannot see them yet in front of us.
