My Delight

When was the last time you just stared at something that brings you a smile? There are many happy times happened in our lives. They come and go, but the memories stay forever.  My intention was to capture the joy that we felt, no matter where it happened. Thus, “My Delight” was created based on this.

Multiple vibrant layers were used to provide a foundation at the start of the process. Bright colour in the middle conveys development and thriving inner optimism. Warm oranges and reds symbolise inspiration, enthusiasm, and self-assurance, while the purple colour represents the person deep in his memories.

The mix of colours in rectangles represents a change of time and places. After that, I added bold splashes that bring energy and vibrant movement to our lives. The finishing touches of random marks carry everything together in harmony.

I hope you will feel that memories are treasures, where we can enjoy over and over again. No matter where we are, I hope this piece will remind you to make happy memories because they awaken the warmth in our hearts.
