Sparkly Zest

“Sparkly Zest” is a reflection of one’s journey as a dreamer, chasing visions that shimmer with colour, hope, and possibility. In this piece, I wanted to capture the feeling of stepping bravely toward those dreams, even when they once seemed distant. The central burst of white represents that vital moment of courage. In contrast, the surrounding layers of blue, white, and red embody the challenges, surprises, and joy that come with pursuing something meaningful.

The bright sparks of white and red symbolise both courage and the fire of the heart. They also represent the love and support along the way. It also serves as a reminder that we are never alone on this path. That energy radiates through the composition like constellations, weaving a sense of encouragement into the work. The swirling blues reflect the uncertainty of the unknown but also the beauty and depth of possibility.

The essence of this piece is to embrace the fact that we always have the determination within us. The radiating forms at the centre are like a heart bursting outward, declaring resilience and self-belief. Each stroke carries the dual presence of external support and inner conviction, blending into a field of endurance and movement.

When I painted “Sparkly Zest,” I hoped collectors would feel uplifted and inspired to reconnect with their own dreams. My purpose with this work is to spark courage and to remind us that even when dreams feel far away, the strength to chase them has always been alive in our hearts. This piece is a celebration of love, bravery, and the spark of life that drives us forward.
