Thrill of Courage

“Thrill of Courage” started with a simple question, but carries a huge weight for the answer. In pursuing our journey to do what we love, we’re often asked the reason we do what we do. Some might understand, but many don’t.

I started with brushstrokes with two colours and different shades for the background. These blue and red shades represent the two kinds of responses to the answer that we gave. While the patterns on both sides of the canvas show uncertainty of our choices, the pattern in the middle symbolises the difficulty that we have to face in doing things that we love.

The bright rectangular shape carries both struggle and support, and the elements of green show the thrill as a result of the struggle and support we received. It is my biggest hope that you will feel the excitement on your journey to pursue your dreams. I also wish that this artwork would help you to express your joy and courage to make your dreams come true.
