Dreams

You and I, everyone has a dream. Some think that their dreams are too big to achieve, but others might think otherwise. Regardless, what makes you begin and keeps you moving forward? “Dreams” started with a wonder to explore the meaning of the word itself. That one soul who believes in his dreams, who is inspired by them and keeps trying hard to make the dreams come true.

For this painting, I began with a dark background, followed by faded purple and then curl brushstrokes, but with different shades of green colour. This is to present that the dreams themselves often change, but most of the time, they remain as one main goal.

In addition to that, you can see there are orange and black splashes in the middle of the canvas. I intended these elements to show that the paths we take will eventually lead to our dreams. Besides, the purple frame symbolises a reminder to help us focus on our dreams.
