Forever Will

In life, we will come upon many choices that lead to another question, and another chance to take. However, what makes us decide to do it? What’s the reason we want to keep going? I created Forever Will from the feeling of walking through life with only a little faith in hand, yet we still choose to move forward. I wanted it to feel like that moment when the path is not clear; we know that there is a greater power that keeps guiding us through.

The deep blues symbolise the great unknown path that we travel through in this life. The darker black and grey areas represent doubt, pressure, and the weight of crossroads. Meanwhile, you can see that I used gold on the canvas. It is meant as a sign of guidance, faith, and inner strength that we have in our hearts. It doesn’t take up the whole surface so as to show that it has its own great ability. The white marks are reminders that hope can still appear in the middle of confusion.

The movement in the painting is wide, layered, and fluid, almost like currents pulling in different directions. The curved forms and sharp black gestures represent decisions, inner struggle, and the courage to keep going step by step.
