Garden of Love

A fresh start can feel like planting a seed and trusting it will grow, even when we’re full of doubt. In this painting, I imagined love as a garden that does not need to be perfect to be real, only cared for, held gently, and given space to grow. Have you ever wondered what will happen when you nurture yourself with love? The question inspired me to create Garden of Love.

I found myself building the background layer with shades of green, and then I added turquoise. These colours symbolise renewal, peace, and the living energy of nature. They create a calm space around the heart, like shade under a tree after a warm day. Furthermore, the gold pattern at the centre represents devotion, kindness, and love that is precious because it is built patiently. Small pink and red marks bring warmth, joy, romance, and the playful spark that keeps love alive.

The heart shape is created with layered golden lines, almost like roots and vines crossing inside a shared life. I wanted the pattern to show that love is made through many small moments, not one grand gesture. The soft, misty edges around the canvas bring a sense of growth and tenderness, making Garden of Love an original abstract painting for collectors who love contemporary abstract art, green abstract wall art, heart artwork, romantic abstract art, and meaningful fine art.
