Everlasting

For a long time, we carried a dream that felt farther away with every difficult step. There were seasons of doubt, restless moments and battles within ourselves that tested our faith. There were moments when the weight of the journey nearly persuaded us to stop. Yet we kept moving, guided by the silent belief that what is meant for the heart can survive distance, uncertainty, and time. I painted Everlasting at the moment that dream finally felt real, when we could look back and see that every obstacle had brought us closer to a future once imagined only in secret. That said, have you ever reached a long-awaited destination and realised the journey had transformed you as deeply as the dream itself?

I created this original abstract painting to honour enduring challenges and the relief of finally setting down what no longer needs to be carried. Two overlapping hearts anchor the composition, representing lives, memories, and hopes that remain individual while becoming beautifully connected. Their white outlines represent a lasting bond that is alive and connecting desire and dreams. The hearts touch without disappearing into one another, expressing dreams that inspire personal growth and resilience.

The deep blues symbolise the vast emotional distance travelled, while turquoise brings renewal and the freedom to breathe again. You can see the purple and violet, which are meant to carry the mystery of destiny and transformation. Besides, magenta represents passion, motivation, and the courage to remain open to every possibility. Soft green and golden accents show hidden blessings and hope for the journey that lies ahead.
